How the Pure City standard works

We show the criteria behind each formulation and explain the limits of the evidence. Pure City Research reviews human evidence and identifies study funding so you can assess the basis for each decision.

  • Natural

For agricultural feedstocks, we disclose the certification actually held by each supply chain and lot. Where organic certification applies, the product page identifies the relevant standard.

  • Chemically produced

For synthesized ingredients, we state the identity, purity, and manufacturing controls required for that product and publish the applicable finished-lot testing.

  • Every lot

Finished production lots will be independently tested through an appropriately accredited laboratory before shipment. For this first pre-order run, lot-level COAs are still pending and will be published before any order ships.

  • Melatonin 1 mg

Evidence is strongest for jet lag and depends on timing; more is not automatically better, while chronic adult insomnia and long-term safety remain uncertain.

  • CoQ10 100 mg

Evidence varies by outcome: heart-failure and migraine findings have limits, statin-muscle evidence is mixed, and general “energy” claims remain unsupported.

  • L-Tyrosine

Evidence is concentrated in short-term, high-demand stress settings; routine daily cognitive, mood and ADHD claims are not established.

  • Nattokinase 2000 FU

Human trials suggest only modest blood-pressure changes; oral microclot claims are not established in clinical trials, and bleeding risk requires caution.

Evidence, clearly explained

Pure City Research documents the human evidence, study funding, and important limitations behind each reviewed topic. The aim is clarity about what the evidence can—and cannot—support.
